The minerals are so effective in eliminating algae and bacteria, wherever they are in the pool, the PoolRX minerals do not gas off like chlorine and form a stable, safe residual in the water all over the pool. This means even when the pump is not running, the PoolRX minerals are eliminating algae and bacteria were ever they are in the water.

How this helps:

Commercial pools are normally large volumes of water with high bather load and in some areas poor circulation. This makes chlorine function without assistance almost impossible to sanitize the water completely. Chlorine is continually gassing off and being consumed by eliminating algae and bacteria which require large dosages continually. By introducing the PoolRX minerals, chlorine does not need to be added as frequently and in such large doses. By having a synergistic relationship with the PoolRX minerals the chlorine does not have to work as hard allowing it to perform its function more effectively and at lower dosages, making the swimming condition a better sanitized and less toxic environment for swimmers and maintenance staff alike

Chlorine only commercial pool:

If using chlorine alone, much higher levels are required for it to perform its function. Chlorine levels need to be at 3.0ppm to in excess of 5.0ppm. The problem with this is algae is still resilient to chlorine even at these level s and chlorine levels over 5.0ppm are toxic to humans.

Solution:

Using the PoolRX minerals in conjunction with 1.5ppm to 2.0ppm of chlorine sanitizes the water better than even 10.ppm of chlorine would (toxic to humans at that level). This meets all health department chlorine level requirements worldwide.

Note: It will take at least 50% less chlorine to meet the health department requirements.

Commercial Spas:

Commercial spas are a major problem due to high bather load and heat. This makes commercial spas difficult to keep properly sanitized with chlorine. However using SpaRX and a low chlorine residual you are able to keep the spa properly sanitized even if all the chlorine has been used up and you have a 0ppm reading you still have the SpaRX minerals in the water eliminating algae and bacteria but totally safe for all bathers.

We recommend 1.5 ppm to 2.0ppm for chlorine in the spa this meets all worldwide health department standards for chlorine.

Commercial Dosages:

Dosage of PoolRX minerals on a commercial pools need to be more often. The reason is the minerals do more work and are used up at a far quicker rate. This happens through algae kill, backwash splash out etc. Minerals will need to be added every 3 to 4 months.

How will I know when?

On a pool that has looked fantastic with no algae and crystal clear water after say 3 months starts forming algae or water is getting a little cloudy you know time to replace minerals. Otherwise stick to the regular program of every 4 months
