The Complete System:

We have come up with the ultimate alternative sanitization system and it has 3 key elements.

This system will produce the most effective form of sanitization with the lowest amount of toxic chemicals. Providing the cleanest, healthiest water you will ever swim in, with complete automation. Chemical adjustment and testing will be at most monthly, rather than weekly.

Ozone and its drawbacks:

Ozone is a very powerful oxidizer, and in a perfect world no chlorine would be needed as Ozone is a far more powerful oxidizer than chlorine. However ozone only lasts a few seconds and will only oxidize what it will come into contact for those few seconds. The key with ozone is the longer its runs the more effective it will be. This is why in the complete system we have an inline chlorine feeder to add really low amounts of regulated chlorine 0.2ppm to 0.5ppm. This is less than drinking water standards and almost not detectable to humans. (Compared to Salt systems 3.0ppm to 5.0ppm at least 10 times higher).

Problem with both chlorine and Ozone:

Algae is resilient to both chlorine and ozone.

Solution- PoolRX

PoolRX is the best algaecide nature has to offer. The PoolRX minerals are one thousand times more effective in eliminating algae and bacteria which drastically reduces the need for oxidizer like chlorine and ozone. However it does not eliminate organics (sweat, suntan oils etc) which make the water cloudy. That’s what ozone and chlorine do.

Pool Automation:

The PoolRX complete system basically automates pool maintenance, once set up and the chlorine feeder is set to the low output of chlorine (0.2ppm to 0.5ppm). This will need to adjusted beginning of season if your summer and winter temperatures vary.

Other than that pH and alkalinity will be needed to be checked from time to time. And chlorine tabs will be needed to be added every couple of months. (This will depend on bather load and size of pool).
